Reuse and clean false lashes
A few minutes of care makes a set of press-on lashes last several wears.
The big advantage of press-on lashes is that you do not throw them away after one day. Removed, cleaned and stored properly, you wear the same clusters several times. Care takes a few minutes and prevents exactly the two things that ruin lashes early: pulling when removing and dirt on the adhesive strip.
Step 1: remove gently
Never pull on the cluster itself and never tug hard at your own lashes. Hold the band at the outer edge with the tweezer or your fingers and slide it gently outwards along your lash line. Stuck? Dab the lash line with a cotton bud and some lukewarm water or an oil-free make-up remover and wait a minute. Oil weakens the adhesive strip permanently, so only use it if you are done reusing that set.
Step 2: clean
Remove any mascara or skin-oil residue with a dry or slightly damp cotton bud. Wipe along the hairs, not against them, and leave the adhesive strip alone: no rubbing, no soaking. Then lay the clusters on a clean, dry surface to dry. Do not use mascara on press-on lashes; it is the fastest way to make them unusable.
Step 3: store
Put the clusters back in the original packaging, in the spot they came from. The box protects the curve of the band and keeps dust and moisture out. Store at room temperature, not in a damp bathroom. Press the clusters on firmly at the next wear; once the hold really drops, the set is due for replacement. Our accessories make removing and placing easier.
